Est. 2022
Cornerstone Ranch was founded by Liz Pemberton, an EAGALA certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor, this year! Liz graduated from William Woods University with a bachelor's in Equine General Studies and a focus on Equine Assisted Therapies. Having worked for numerous facilities across the country, she felt it was time to add her own touch to the industry. Inspired by the Hillsong Worship song 'Cornerstone' our ranch is devoted to ministering to its participants by honoring God and helping people.
ABOUT CORNERSTONE RANCH
Cornerstone Ranch is a non-profit organization focused on providing Equine Assisted Psychotherapy through the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning, or EAGALA, model. We are committed to helping individuals in all age ranges with issues such as anxiety, depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, grief, emotional regulation, self-esteem issue, and more. We understand that healing takes time and desire to work with our clients at their own pace.
Individuals will work with our amazing herd of horses alongside EGALA certified Equine Specialists and Mental Health Professionals. Whether you choose to have an individual, family, or group session, our team is devoted to your journey to self-healing. Our programs include Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, Couples Workshop, and our Veterans program.

Why Equine Assisted Therapies?
Horses have been used as a therapy tool for generations. Research has shown that they not only assist in the development of life skills but lower blood pressure and heart rate too. Individuals receive therapy while still having fun and building a relationship with the equine. Many state that the process is extremely therapeutic, yet does not feel like therapy.
